China-Mozambique “Belt and Road” Joint Laboratory on Smart Agriculture Postdoctoral Researcher Recruitment Announcement

  1. Introduction to the Joint Laboratory

The China–Mozambique Belt and Road Joint Laboratory on Smart Agriculture (in preparation) is a national-level scientific and technological innovation platform established under the overall strategic framework of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China.

The laboratory focuses on the strategic needs of food security in both China and Mozambique, as well as on frontier areas such as smart agriculture and intelligent disaster early warning. The lab carries out pioneering, innovative, and application-oriented research in the following fields:

  • Intelligent monitoring and early warning of agricultural disasters

  • Sustainable utilization of agricultural water and soil resources

  • Germplasm innovation for high-yield and stress-resistant crops and smart cultivation

  • Intelligent sensing and diagnosis of agricultural information

  • Smart farmland management and agricultural equipment innovation

  • China-Africa Research Center for Agricultural Science, Technology and Industrial Cooperation

The lab also serves as a training and exchange platform for Mozambican technical personnel and a demonstration base for the application of China’s smart agriculture and natural disaster early-warning technologies. It aims to become an international research and talent cultivation center with distinctive strengths in agricultural resources and natural disaster risk prevention.

We sincerely welcome outstanding young scholars from around the world to join the China–Mozambique Belt and Road Joint Laboratory on Smart Agriculture as postdoctoral researchers!
